This sprawling complex of high-rise buildings offers convenience and a good location at the expense of intimacy. It may feel more like an urban housing complex than a beach resort, but the key here is the availability of numerous services, restaurants, and diversions. The excellent Club Cabana Nana kid's program makes this a popular choice for families. A high occupancy level (time-shares make up much of the resort) means that the lively bars and restaurants are great places for meeting new people. The downside is that the pool area is normally packed, and you're unlikely to find peace and quiet here. About a third of the studios and one-bedroom suites have ocean views. All have kitchenettes, balconies, and hot tubs. Pricier villas are away from the main building. Planning to do your own cooking? You can order groceries online up to two days before your trip and have them delivered when you arrive.
