Are you watching on tv or could you actually be there? The 2010 Winter Olympics are happening in Vancouver, BC in February...the 12th to 28th. They are slated to be one of the most exciting winter games ever with many new young athletes who are participating for the first time. There will be more than 86 winter sports competitions unfolding at several locations close to Vancouver, including Whistlers' Mtn, Blackcomb Mtn, Cypress Mtn and Callaghan Valley.
Vancouver and its neighboring villages have been rated as the #1 ski area in North America for over 10 years. There are actually a thousand miles of groomed ski runs. On top of that, the mountains and scenery are pretty spectacular.
