 The Ridge Sierra Timeshare Resort
A short drive up a winding road takes you into Tahoe timeshare territory that is off the lake. At the very top rests The Ridge which is a perfect facility for a family vacation. Besides indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs there is just about every sport you could think of...miniature golf, basketball, tennis...a recreation area with a movie theater, ping pong, arcade games...and numerous rooms with pool tables. This is the back side of Heavenly and you can catch a ski lift right outside the resort. You can easily catch a shuttle to get to the casinos and shopping. There's a nice bar with very friendly staff. The rooms were adequate & clean, but not newly built (think formica vs granite counters)...at least the one we stayed in. This is a super place for a family vacation in the summer or winter.
