Dinsey Vacation Club questions

hello timeshare experts-

We are considering the buying of a Disney vacation Club timeshare, but had a few questions about it. What I read about Disney timeshare is all good, but is it true that these timeshares thru Disney are deeded vacation property with an expiration? How many locations does disney vacation club have and are they all in Florida? Florida is great and we have kids that will love the disney deal and relative near Daytona beach, but I dont want to be locked in at one timeshare or state.

Disney Vacation Club is extremely popular, flexible and many consider DVC to be the very best timeshare organization in the world. DVC timeshare has an excellent resale rate, and it's very versatile. Here's what the Disney Vacation Club website has to say about the number of timeshare resorts within their community of properties and the versatility offered with DVC membership:

As for your questions about the expiration, DVC is good for 50 years from the date of purchase though DVC directly and the resale market is full of a variety of DVC timeshare that vary in the number of years left on the agreement(usually a lifetimes worth of vacations). The savings offered on the resale market can be substantial, so be sure to consider the timeshare resale market!

....you can also trade your disney vacation club points with interval international and use any one of the timeshares that belongs to interval. so, even tho disney has a lot of great timeshares in a number of great destinations and options to disney cruise lines and more resorts around the globe that a dvc owner can use, interval expands their option even more.

Thx for all the info, we are really excited about the Disney timeshare. Got a DVD and info pack from DVC over the weekend and the cruise option has my husband nearly sold and our kids are the perfect age for the theme parks in Orlando. So many options when compared to what I thought a timeshare was.....we will consider the re-sale option to save money. We may have more questions soon- thx again!
