Default Hilton Timeshare resale

If I don't plan to visit the HGVC timeshare year after year, does it really matter what location I buy my HGVC points?

the way i understand it is that hgvc points are interchangeable from hilton time share resort to resort, so i was told to seek the lowest annual fees/taxes/dues when buying resale hilton grand vacation club..

Default Hilton Timeshare / HGVC buying advice

Yes with HGVC timeshare 'points are points' and can be used anywhere within the HGVC, but if you buy 7000 points from one resort and 5000 from another remember that these points are attached to a deeded week at the home resort, a specific county/state and therefore each will have independent maintenance fees and taxes.

I advise buying HGVC timeshare at the same home resort, a resort with low annual dues and trading for other locations with hilton.

Hope this helps and hope this made sense

Default HGVC Hilton Time shares for sale

You can probably find a deal on the HGVC time share resale market thats so good you won't care about the lower maint fees and taxes. With the current economy, I would think time share sellers would be more negoitiable than they we're when they put thier time share up for sale.
