Hi Friends, I would like to share one of my experiences with you at the Disney Resort – Orlando. I wanted to go out and spend some time with my family during our Christmas vacation. While I was browsing the internet I found the best deal ever and I landed up purchasing tickets for Disney Resort – Orlando. When we reached the Orlando International Airport, we were amazed that a free transport was waiting to take us to the facility.
When we entered the resort my children jumped from their seats as we could see the Disney rides and Disney Characters like Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry, etc. They had a giant size teddy bear that welcomed us and gave us a big hug. We were offered drinks upon our arrival. There was a swimming pool next to our cottage. We preferred to take a nap first and then after supper we went to the Disney Park. We had a gala time there and returned for dinner. There were 24 hour multi cuisines World Class Restaurants. We had our dinner there. The next morning my wife and I went to the Fitness center/Spa that was a couple of yards away. I had a sauna bath there. My children went to the Golf Club. A few hours later, we had our breakfast. I was really delighted by their room service as everything was available at the wink of an eye. Then we moved on to an indoor game stadium where we played snooker and pool. Later that evening, we again went for the water slides and fun rides in the park. Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to an extra three hours after regular Park closing, so Guests of Disney Resorts have the opportunity to play more in the Parks. At night, we were served dinner in our living room and went to bed.
At last, our two day package was over and we were dropped back at the Airport. It is needless to mention that it was the most beautiful weekend ever.

this place is awesome! besides the disney theme parks that are always fun for my kids and my wife and i the boardwalk timeshare resort is awesome. the pool is fun for the kids and it was hard to pull them away from the resort and get them excited about going to see the park itself!
very recommended....we return as often as possible and as disney timeshare club owners we can even go on the disney cruise line!
I have really enjoyed our Disney Vacation Club over the years and have been looking forward to going to the newest timeshare resort DVC has built, the Disney Animal Kingdom. I would like some other peoples opinions on it if they have been. We are grandparents and visit the Orlando area each year with our grand children and friends. Thanks.
Awesome and as magical as actually staying in your own timeshare with your family right in the middle of everything. "Mouse owners" have fun family vacations that create memories their children will keep forever.
Which resort is most convenient to Animal Kingdom?
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas will be in the heart of the action and I think the best and closest resort to the Disney AK park. Not sure if it's completely finished being built yet, I at least one phase is.

Totally agree(and grandchildren too)!

Disney got it right with this time share resort and theme park! My kids loved it. As soon as we arrived and stepped out on to the balcony, a baby Giraffe and it's mother strolled by. Later we saw Zebras, Ostrich and Wildebeast.
I don't recall the name of the restaurant but it was a buffet with tons of African themed foods. The kids tried new things to eat just like we did. Also nice to take your hungry and tired kids straight up to the buffet to eat. No waiting! Very nice after a day of Disney fun.
What time of year do people recommend for visiting the Orlando area and Disney World in particular? I'd like to avoid the extreme heat, the love bugs and big crowds.

As far as a time of year, try visiting sometime toward the mid/end of October through mid April to avoid the Florida heat & humidity. This time of year is prime tourist season, of course, for the same reason, but I have a friend that visits Disney every Thanksgiving Day and has mentioned the lack of big crowds, long lines, etc.

If you have any questions about buying, renting or selling timeshares, please post your question.
Children really don't care what the economy is doing. They want to go to Disney World and the Magic Kingdom and they expect their family to do that. Read what the DVC sales director had to say about the new timeshares currently under construction.
"Mike Brunson, the sales director for Disney Vacation Club on the West Coast, said he expects the timeshares to sell out fast, despite the spiraling economy.
“We’re actually finding we’re doing very, very well,” he said. “In economic times like these, people still vacation. We’re actually growing year over year.” The vacation club is based on a points system. Consumers buy about 200 or 300 points at $112 a point – so a typical timeshare with the club costs an average of $30,000. The 200 to 300 points refresh every year."
Buying or renting a timeshare resale at one of the DVC resorts will keep those children happy and be a good vacation investment.
