Hello and welcome to our forum, megamoneywithgrn,

That's a tough question because the amenities you favor may not match another timeshare owner or renter.

I would advise you to begin with our 'Resort Directory' and search the St. Maarten/Sint Martin area of this timeshare directory(link Below). You can access our Ad Listings for any area or city through this one-of-a-kind directory or click HERE to search by specific criteria(note: it is only necessary to check 'buy' or 'rent' and then select the desired the 'Area' or 'City') and then peruse our available Ad Listings for information on any and all of the properties that match what you seek.

ST. MAARTEN TIMESHARES(French Side) or SINT MARTIN(Dutch side)

The following links are to the official Bureau/Office for both The French and Dutch areas of this beautiful island.

St. Maarten Tourist Bureau(French)

Saint Martin Tourist Office(Dutch)

As for the best time of year to travel to this area, it is considered 'Prime Vacation Season' there year-round, so while the temperature may fluctuate slightly I think it's again up to the discriminations of each traveler as to what time of year would be the best time to travel. The 'links' provided above should help you determine what resort and what time of year suits you best.

Thanks for the interest in our Forum and I sincerely hope I was able to help.

Default Watch out for February

Hey Megamoney, I went during week number 5 a couple of years ago. Seemed to have been their busy season, a bit too busy for me. I was told October and November are a couple of beautiful months to visit that location. good luck - Beachfreak
