Timeshare Value in this Recession
Mark Silverman of the San Francisco Timeshare Examiner wrote an article this week titled: Timeshare: with or without money. The article began by stating:
"It occurs to me as I reflect on this Sunday morning that the current economic crisis demonstrates the value of timeshare in a very tangible way. At this point, our family has been part of vacation ownership for more than twenty years. And because of that, we have options. Even when things are tight."
He continues on to explain how he considers the timeshare maintenance fees and exchange membership fees to be a part of his family's annual fixed expenditures just the same as car insurance and electric bills. When it is time to vacation, he considers his main expense to be transportation costs. And if he so chooses, it could cost as little as a tank of gas for his car. Mr. Silverman has utilized his timeshare for over 20 years and considers it to be a bargain vacation opportunity. Since I don't believe he is selling anything, I do believe he is sincere in promoting the economical value offered by timeshare ownership.
