Today Fox News ran an article titled, Are Timeshare Vacations Worth Your Time? It wasn't negative and I don't think they are selling timeshares. Basically, it pointed out that if you are serious about vacationing this year and years to come, owning a timeshare is a good thing. Of course, they encouraged buying on the resale market; doing your research and being aware of the annual maintenance fee. Besides the advantage of saving money over renting outright, the opportunity for trading and exchanging is icing on the cake. A sense of fellowship is felt by the timeshare owner because the resort treats you like a guest and an owner.
