Smile Timeshares outperform Hotels in Hawaii
The ARDA, American Resort Development Assoc., is the overseer of all things timeshare. Their Hawaii chapter just reported that timeshare occupancy statewide outperformed hotel occupancy by nearly 20 percent in the second quarter of last year. I wonder what the percentage is for this quarter of this year? For the tourism industry this is a time to embrace the timeshare vacationer and start being a bit more respectful. Timeshare owners are committed to vacations and resorts and will continue to travel because of that committment.
