Is it really true? Are there really timeshares pertaining to yachts? And if there is, are there any in Florida? Can one exchange or use points or such for vacationing on a yacht?

Yes, it's true. I googled "timeshare yachts in Florida" and there appear to be several. One even includes sailing instructions. Some of them look pretty expensive and are offered as fractionals. I love sailing and would never be happy on a boat where I couldn't be at the tiller or handling the sails. Most ideal to me would be getting a good nights sleep on land...in my timeshare...and spending my days sailing and snorkeling. In Florida, I think that would put me down south in Key West territory.
