Marriott's Timeshares in Hawaii
Found this tip about Marriott's points program and their vacation clubs in Hawaii in the The Hawaii Insider dated March 3, 2009:
" You can also use its points to stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, or one of Marriott's four timeshare "vacation clubs" in Hawaii -- although they're not part of the no-blackout, fifth-night-free or PointSaver plans. However, staying at one of the villas has a built-in multi-night discount: Whereas the first night in a one-bedroom villa at the Maui Ocean Club in Lahaina takes 35,000 points for a free night, three nights requires only 75,000 and a week, 125,000."
