Cool Marriott's Timber Lodge

Marriott has many fine hotels in the United States. Marriott's Timber Lodge is one of the finest Marriott’s properties in South Lake Tahoe, California. The resort is an abode of luxury and comfort and offers world class amenities and infrastructure. The resort provides you free local calls and newspapers delivered in your unit.

The resort offers a fun filled vacation for children, youngsters and elderly. If you are on a vacation with your spouse you will find the much desired solitude that you will be longing for. The resort offers world class amenities and infrastructure in each condo or villa. You can start your morning with refreshing views through your balcony or patio. Then you may go for a stroll or exercise room to assess your strength and endurance. After that you can have a relaxing sauna bath for a rejuvenating experience.

There is an onsite restaurant call Fire and Ice where you can try some delicious food with your entire family. If you are a golfer then you may enjoy some beautiful courses at Edgewood Golf Course which is just 5 miles away from the resort. IF you have passion for snow games then you can go to Heavenly Ski Basin or Kirkwood Ski Area and enjoy snow skiing. You can take pleasure in swimming, boating and many water sports at Lake Tahoe.

There is so much fun for the entire family in the vicinity that you will not even realize when your vacation will come to an end.

Thanks!!

Thumbs up South Lake Tahoe Timesharing

The Marriott Timberlodge is really lovely and couldn't be better located. You'll only need your car for sight seeing around the lake. I spent the week before the Christmas holiday there last year. The get-away took the edge off the holidaze and my daughter and her family enjoyed quality time together. My grandson and his Dad spent the day snow boarding on Heavenly, while my daughter and the little grandson and I rode the Heavenly lift to the top for views and fun sliding on inner tubes...and much needed hot chocolate. To celebrate my grandson's birthday we walked across the street to one of the casinos and had a buffet dinner that was more food selections than you could imagine.
It was very cold and snowy, which made it perfect for sledding down a slippery slope to the lake...a free fun kid's activity for another day. If you like to gamble, you've got it made within walking distance. (Grandma's are handy for childcare.) And, of course, there are plenty of cool shops for browsing.
Lake Tahoe and the mountain vistas are awesome!!!

Thumbs up Marriott Tahoe timeshare vacation

The Marriott Timber Lodge timeshare is very, very nice and right in the heart of Lake Tahoe. Our unit had it all, fireplace, mountain view, washer/dryer and even comfortable beds! The kids are loved the snow and had a blast! The lake is surrounded by incredible snow covered mountains. Weather was good, 45 in the daytime and 25 at night. Recommended area and timeshare resort!

Thumbs up Timeshare at Marriott Timberlodge

Marriott Timberlodge in heart of Heavenly Village provided an experience for me that I truly hope to repeat. I stayed recently with my son, his wife and my 2 grandchildren. Our rooms were new and tastefully decorated and comfortable. You can see in my attached photos. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare family meals. Besides groceries that we brought; it was an easy walk to buy what else we needed. I forgot to mention the included valet service that made it so easy to forget we had a car. You could walk to everywhere...when you weren't taking advantage of just being there. We could watch the Heavenly Gondola go up the snowy mountain side right from our timeshare condo's windows. Needless to say, it was a very short walk to actually ride the gondola up to the The Deck and Adventure Peak. We all loved the ride, the views and the grandkids did some sledding and snow person making.
After checking in and getting settled on our first evening, my daughter-in-law and I cruised down to a little wine and cheese reception. It looked like there might have been some timeshare sales people, but no one approached us. It was quite pleasant. Another day we checked out the activities center for the kids. There were scheduled activities everyday...for all ages. Mostly, we just kept too busy doing something (or doing nothing) to partake in any of that. Believe it or not, the outdoor heated pool was swimmable. After playing in the snow, the kids loved it. The adults loved the hot tubs...there were 3 or 4. (Note to self: bring robe next time) Plenty of towels were furnished just for the pool.
Sledding was the sport of our trip. We went 4 different places...3 of which were free and 1 place was a short walk from the lodge. One day we took the kids to Eldorado Beach. The water was frozen out beyond the swim buoys and all of Lake Tahoe glistened. Lots of smiles on everybody's faces. Although we missed it, there was a night where we were invited to toast s'mores. The fire pits outside Fire and Ice (great restaurant attached to Timberlodge) always had people gathered around. We ate out from Wolfgang Puck's little restaurant and Cecil's...pretty fair fare. My favorite meal was at a locals taqueria (I'll get the name) that served authenic Mexican...loved their fresh salsa bar.
To sum it up, the location at Heavenly Village was tops and our timeshare condo was first class!
We had a renters' experience that really made you think about being an owner.
