If you rent from a company or private party how can you verify the resort is reserved in your name with the time/unit you want before you leave on your trip. I want to rent a few timeshares but don't want to fly my family somewhere and risk not having a place to stay. How do you suggest I verify the rental?

Make sure you have a signed lease agreement which details the rental terms and contact the resort directly to confirm the reservation.
