Selling Timeshare Will Not Affect Rental
Hello Stmickey,
I think what you're asking is that if you rent a timeshare from someone who is also selling and the timeshare is sold after you have agreed to rent the unit, will the sale jeopardize your plans or rental of the timeshare?
The answer is no.
Once you have rented a timeshare, received confirmation, etc, you are 'locked-in' and any potential buyer of the timeshare would be aware that the week is unavailable(rented, banked, etc), which does not affect the sale as buyers on the resale market are not necessarily looking for immediate vacation accommodations, but rather savings and simplicity.
