Default Renting-Out Spring Break Timeshare

Hello, I have posted here a few times in the past when considering selling or renting my Wyndham points timeshare and never made a decision about what to do. My wife and I are young and bought the timeshare on a trip to Las Vegas and at first had regrets about the purchase then considered selling, renting and back to keeping it. Now we have a chance to use our Wyndham points for spring break in Daytona Beach, so I was wondering if it would be better to book the time frame Wyndham has offered or just advertise it as "floating" like I've seen others doing on this website? The week Wyndham has available for us is from April 26th - May 3rd. I know this has to be spring break for some and Daytona Beach is known as a popular spring break spot for many and even good for regular vacations.

Default Renting Bluegreen Timeshare As Floating Week

I don't own a Wyndham timeshare, but Bluegreen is a similar points timeshare and I've decided to leave my points open or floating rather than book a certain week. I'm advertising it here and I was asked to choose a location or one of Bluegreens resorts and the I just leave the dates open, so instead of picking a week I'm able to offer any week of the year, based on availability. I have a lot of unused points, so I should be able to get any week the renter of my timeshare is looking for. This sounded better than picking a week to me, but I've seen others who are advertising their timeshare week or certain dates. I guess it's good either way, but this is the route I chose. Wish me luck!
