Question The best time to submit timeshare rental ads?

I just wanted to know if there is such thing called 'the right timing' to submit rental ads for timeshares. Some of my friends say the best time to submit rental ads is like 3-4 months in advance. What do you guys think? How far in advance do you submit rental ads? And if you submit it too early, does it put you in an advantage? Does it increase the chances of your timeshare getting picked up quickly? I'd appreciate if someone can throw some light on these issues.

Default Timeshare Rentals

Hello Palze,

I would advise submitting timeshare rental ads as soon as you know you want to have the timeshare rented-out. With Timeshare Adventures we work until rented, so the more exposure you receive the greater the likelihood of speedy success. Also, with advance or early marketing you would have the liberty to perhaps be a bit more selective when rental offers come in because you would have time on your side.

Timeshare renters come from every imaginable direction. Many are last minute renters, many plan their vacations in accordance with their airline reservations approximately 4 to 8 months out and then there are those who seek timeshare rentals way ahead of time(12 to 18 months in advance) for family reunions and major events like the Super Bowl, the Olympics, etc.

Three to four months is adequate time and we have even been able to deliver timeshare rental success with far less time, but all things considered the more advance the placement of the ad the better!

I think that pretty much sums up this whole issue. Remember, early bird gets the worm. So, submit your ad as soon as you decide to rent out your unit. Don't wait for the 'right timing'. There isn't any.
