Question Timesharing at all inclusive resorts

When you rent a timeshare at a big resort and they offer an all inclusive package, do you have to take it? Does it mean you have to pay extra...alot or a little? And is it really advantageous? I'd like to hear who has had experiences with this type of vacation approach. Thanks!

Default Timeshare All-Inclusive

Most timeshare resorts that offer all-inclusive either make it voluntary all-inclusive or mandatory all-inclusive, so it would depend on which timeshare resort you were renting as to whether this would be required.

All-inclusive fees are typically structured as a per person, per day type of fee , so they will vary on the number of people(kids are usually much less), length of stay and perhaps whether the visitor wants; top shelf drinks, premium meals, certain on-site restaurants, etc.

When we have visited an all inclusive timeshare we have learned that we prefer the voluntary all inclusive because we enjoy off site excursions in the area we vacation. So, we have been allowed to opt in or out of the all inclusive plan.
