Default Timeshare rental

Hey there,
I have found a few interesting locations for rentals. They say the rates are negotiable. Is this really true? How does that get handled? I'm looking for a deal and I heard they are out there.

Definitely, YES! Nearly all timeshare owners that offer their timeshare unit weeks For Rent are negotiable when negotiating the rental rate of their unused timeshares. Fell welcome to make offers on as many timeshare Ad Listings as you like. Every offer is immediately delivered to the owner for acceptance or counter-offer. Timeshare rental deals abound here and when compared to the cost of a decent hotel / resort / etcetera, timeshare accommodations and rental rates far surpass those offered at typical hotel-type vacation resorts!

Question Timeshare rental vs Exchange

Hello...is there any advantage to belonging to an exchange service when it is so easy to just rent a timeshare? Seems like I could just spend my money on the rental costs and skip paying into an exchange set up that seems so complicated.

If you already own a timeshare, having an exchange company membership is a pretty important and very reasonable in term of membership dues and exchange fees. I tend to do both rent from the vast pool of timeshares on the rental market and use my exchange benefits. Learn the ins and outs of your exchange company to utilize their services to the max.
