Hi Mocean,

Thanks for the tipoff! I will have to check them out... I have a friend who lived in Maui, and said the same things you were saying. In fact he used to annoy us with his constant reminiscing and nostalgia for maui - we got to the point where we were like, "If you love it so much, then go back!"

Do they do presentations at this resort? I have a vacation block scheduled in June and am already planning a trip to Hawaii, but havent fleshed out the details. I am thinking of using the occasion to view different timeshare properties there.

Default Marriott Maui

Ram...Marriott has several time share properties in Maui and "tours" are always available for potential buyers. This is a great way to get more familiar with the time share resort program. My sister stayed at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club last year for her honeymoon. The beach was nice and the pool area was great. I think it was la Pirate Ship themed pool and when we visited her the kids couldn't get enough of it.
If you take a tour, DON"T buy until you check out the time share resale market. You might find that same time share for thousands less.

Thanks Mocean!

I actually have 2 weeks vacation this year - do you think it would be possible to book 2 separate stays at 2 different timeshares, so I could get to compare them? I don't imagine you could book less than that amount of time (1 week) at one timeshare - right?

I will have to check these ones out that you recommended.
