I own a Fairfield property in Las Vegas and was wondering if renting out a point-based timeshare is the same as renting out a traditional week? Also, if I use Timeshare Adventures to rent my points, how does it work? I have 154,000 points that I'm not going to be able to use this year and I can barrow more points, if necessary.

Renting a points based system with Fairfield offers a lot of flexibility, and opens the rental market to it's fullest extent. Having multiple destinations and being able to visit any time of the year (minus any blackout dates) offers a very high success rate for vacation rentals. Traditional timeshares have a specific week and location that has to be visited the same time every year, which narrows your market down to someone looking strictly for that deeded week at that specific resort.
