Default Timeshare Resale Tips

Hello williams123,

Timeshare Adventures can certainly help. Please feel comfortable calling us to discuss our timeshare resale strategies and to get some honest answers about what to expect with your timeshare specifically. Below are some general guidelines.

In order to sell a timeshare on the resale market there are a few important guidelines to follow in order to achieve success. Speed-of-sale can be increased when these guidelines are followed.

PRICE: Price the timeshare properly and understand that offering savings below new resort pricing will increase the appeal and the likelihood of a speedy sale.

EXPOSURE: Obviously, reaching your buyer is vital and is accomplished differently than traditional, local real estate. Since timeshare is vacation ownership, the buying audience and marketplace is nationwide and many times global, but rarely local. So, choose a timeshare resale company that has a verifiable presence in this worldwide timeshare resale market.

SIMPLICITY: Eliminate any obstacles between you and the buyer such as past-due maintenance fees, closing costs, etc. Timeshare resale buyers are savvy and seek the savings and simplicity offered on the secondary market versus buying through the timeshare developer or resort directly.

Understand that timeshare is vacation ownership and not necessarily real estate investment. Remain reasonably negotiable and depending on the resort, season, location, and unit size try to be somewhat patient with the resale process.

Default Timeshare Resale - The Difference

The first 'red flag' is that this company solicited you by telephone. Telemarketing companies targeting timeshare owners with unrealistic promises of a very quick sale and "inflated" sales price are many times unethical and, as you've experienced, unreceptive to the needs of their selling clientèle.

Timeshare Adventures does not participate in telemarketing tactics to generate business nor do we make impossible predictions about sale amount or time of sale. By allowing timeshare owners wishing to sell or rent-out their timeshares to find us through our marketing and advertising efforts, we provide them with the validation that timeshare buyers and renters will be able to discover us and their timeshare in same way. We also provide timeshare sellers/renters with realistic expectations with regard to speed-of-sale and price.

Our clients receive over-the-top customer support and service. Our toll-free number is available for immediate communication and we welcome email correspondence anytime.

These above mentioned items are just good business; Do what you say and tend to the needs of your customers!

Beyond basic business ethics, Timeshare Adventures provides something truly unique to the resale industry. This unique attribute is our PLATINUM AD LISTING, which has us absorbing the usual closing costs for both buyer and seller plus our attorney-run closing department performs the closing promptly and professionally once an offer has been accepted.

So, if you are willing to price the timeshare properly, we have the verifiable advertising presence, attentive staff and infastructure to facilitate timeshare resale success.

Unhappy Over 5 years

But what are the upfront fees because I have been burned by these companies more time that I can mention without classifying myself as totally "gullible", lol. The resale industry borders on ridiculous.

Default Timeshare Resale

We offer a few marketing options to assist timeshare owners sell, so the fees vary depending on which option may be best for the timeshare seller, the resort being sold, etc. What's more important to timeshare owners looking to sell / rent than "how much is the fee" is results. Be wary of any telemarketing company that solicits a timeshare owner by phone or mail. These companies rarely reciprocate to the timeshare resale buying audience and often make unrealistic claims about the 'value' / 'worth' of the timeshare and also often offer meaningless and many times unethical guarantees.

For timeshare resale success I advise finding a timeshare resale company that is simple to find ensuring the buyers will find this company just a simply, asking for some evidence of offers generated, and of course price the timeshare well.
