Unhappy Selling My timeshare now!

Hi I just got off the phone with a rep from this timeshare seller and have mixed feeling. I dont want to get ripped off with selling my timeshare. I have SVC Legacy Golf Resort In Phoenix, Arizona 2,500 Points annually and the man gave me an estimate of roughly $10,000 resale price. Can anyone help me out? Just want to sell it and get it off my hands but dont know if this company or one of the other online timeshare sellers is the right one. Is is wise to pay money up front? when trying to sell, and does platinum or gold listing really make a difference????

Default Selling Your Timeshare - Platinum Vs. Gold 'Ad Listing' Options

Hello Rgonz29 and thank you for visiting Timeshare Adventures and for participating in our Forum.

Your concerns are shared by many timeshare sellers initially. Paying a fee to have a company market your timeshare should be no more concerning than placing an ad in the newspaper. Obviously, the cost of a newspaper ad and the fees paid to a timeshare reseller will differ, but so does the advertising exposure received, the amount of potential buyers/renters captured, the services bundled into the fee and terms of the advertising agreement.

I speak on behalf of Timeshare Adventures, of course, and I can tell you that with us you get more 'Bang For Your Buck' than any other option out there. Our Marketing Network and Advertising Partners target the timeshare buying renting and selling audience directly and the results produced are unmatched and verifiable.

As you have noticed by exploring our website, Timeshare Adventures has developed a one-of-a-kind option called the 'PLATINUM AD LISTING', which has our independent real estate attorney performing the closing in-house at NO COST to either seller or buyer. There are many benefits to this option and it is the most unique attribute we offer. It makes Timeshare Adventures the buyers first choice, gives our sellers sincere value, and makes a promise of commitment that no other timeshare resale company can make. Having the staff, infrastructure and the expertise to do what needs to be done once a seller has accepted an offer is, in my opinion, the main reason we are so successful in delivering results to our clients. The 'GOLD AD LISTING' option does not include the closing and it is what the rest of the industry is offering. This option has the cost of closing being negotiated between buyer and seller. Few opt for the 'GOLD AD LISTING' because the 'PLATINUM AD LISTING' makes so much sense. There are, however, some occasions when the 'GOLD AD LISTING' is a better choice, such as non-deeded type vacation memberships or some campground ownerships that do not require a deeded transfer of ownership.

Default Sell Campground Timeshare With Deed

Some campground timeshare type ownerships are deeded like mine and would require the usual closing proceedure, so I advise those who choose to sell with this company to check and be sure that the campground timeshare is deeded or not. The reason I bought the thing in the first place was because it was deeded and I figured there would be benefits to this rather that just a membership.
