Hi, I'm confused about selling a timeshare. Does everyone require a fee upfront? How come you can't sell timeshares like houses and pay the commission when the property is sold? We have a timeshare in Williamsburg but since it's a 5 star resort, it can be used anywhere. When we bought it, we thought we'd travel the world but haven't and would love for someone else to enjoy it. Thanks for any helpful information!

The bottom line is that you own a luxury item and it must marketed very aggresively (just like when it was sold to you) to be re sold.
