Question Selling my timeshare

Time is passing by and I'm begining to wonder if my last timeshare is going to sell anytime soon. I think I've priced it very fairly. A company has approached me saying that if I pay them they will take it off my hands. Are they legit? The idea was tempting till paying $3,000 was mentioned. What is up with that???

Post Selling Timeshare

Look out! There are businesses out there trying to make timeshare owners feel desparate...so desparate you want to pay them to get rid of your timeshare. Some even take your money and you find out later that you still own your timeshare. From what I've read, the economy has created a slow down on sales. Best advice is to use your timeshare or rent it and wait until the market improves. Be patient and don't fall for timeshare relief offers.

Smile Sellling My Timeshare

Thank you for your response, Samantha. I had a bad feeling about that offer to take my timeshare off my hands. I will sit tight and find something fun to do with my timeshare in the mean time.

Talking Selling timeshare

Big Daddy Don,
I found some creative, if not fun, ideas for making your timeshare work for you when you can not use it. These mostly apply to someone who owns a business.
A stay in the timeshare could be an employee perk. It could also be a grand prize for customers who buy the most product. The use of the timeshare could be donated to a charity for fundraising and garner some publicity for the company.
Using vacation as bait, it's possible that your investment of annual fees could actually return you thousands in company sales.
So, you don't have to just let your timeshare sit there, get creative.
What a nice wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation and whatever gift a stay in your timeshare could be.
