Scam Alert: Individuals Claiming To Work For TimeShare Adventures
It has come to our attention that individuals misrepresenting themselves as working for TimeShare Adventures have been calling timeshare owners and soliciting them to sell their timeshares. Some owners have reported that the individual claims to have a 'buyer ready' and need some type of fee to finalize the sale. These fee are requested to be paid by Western Union wire transfer. This is a total and complete SCAM! TimeShare Adventures does not make any uninvited, outbound, telemarketing calls to timeshare owners!
The calls originate from an 813 Area Code(and perhaps other Florida area codes) and the individuals are using the names; Gregory Bernstein and/or Steven(Stephen) James. We have begun and will continue to pursue action against these individuals.
If you have been contacted by these individuals and they claim to be Representatives of TimeShare Adventure or if you're approached with a similar sounding scam please contact us so we can take the proper steps to quell this situation.
Remember, the best way to avoid being taken by scams like this and others is to avoid ANY and EVERY uninvited, telemarketing-type sales approach to sell your timeshare!
