Can anyone tell me the differences between the Marriott Platinum ownership and the Gold ownership? I hear that Marriott Vacation Club timeshares are some of the best resale timeshares on the market.

Marriott Vacation Club ownership is very highly requested and it seems as if Marriott has perfected timeshare ownership. The main difference between Platinum and Gold is the season at which a vacation can be booked. That is, the Platinum level or Platinum season ownership allows usage anytime of the year and a Platinum owner is given priority in certain circumstances. The Gold level/season is a step-below Platinum and there may be certain times of the year that the vacation may not be booked. However, Marriott is committed to their customers and Gold level/season owners can receive upgrades and benefits similar to Platinum when available. Top-notch service is given to both Platinum and Gold; Marriott Vacation Club ownership is excellent!

I speak to many Marriott owners and all are quite pleased with every aspect of the Vacation Club ownership. The wide-range of Marriott resort properties they visit and the service they receive not only at the resort itself, but also the Marriott Vacation Club staff they deal with when using, booking, or inquiring about their vacation ownership is unmatched.

Thanks so much for the useful info on the Marriott Vacation Club timeshare program. You cleared up several of my questions before I was able to ask them. I enjoyed the Marriott page of your website and will be making an offer after we choose a Marriott timeshare in Hawaii.
