TimeShare Take-Over

Our Guaranteed Timeshare Take-Over option will result in the timeshare being transferred completely out of the timeshare owner's name permanently. Timeshare owners will no longer have any maintenance fees, property taxes and special assessments once the transfer occurs.

The timeshare must be completely paid for; No mortgage payments or fees due.
The current year’s maintenance fees must be paid or any monthly fees must also be paid up to date.
Certain timeshare resorts, albeit very few, are not eligible for transferring ownership for various reasons.

Is this the same as donating my timeshare? I was told I would get a decent tax write off if I donate it?

Our Timeshare Take-Over program is different than timeshare donation, but the end result is the same. This program is designed specifically for a timeshare that has no cash value whatsoever. From what I understand most of the timeshare donation outlets take only timeshares that can be easily sold, so that they can contribute the resale proceeds to their affiliated charitable organization.

Also, when donation a timeshare you can only write-off the Fair Market Value of the timeshare, which if faced with the donation/Take-Over option is likely very little or zero.
