Default Timeshare Exchange Power or Trading Power

What is the meaning of Exchange Power or Trades well? I see it all over the timeshare secondary market from timeshare owners wanting to sell their timeshares. I'm new to the timeshare thing and was pointed to Timeshare Adventures by a friend who bought here.

Default Expanation Of Trading or Exchange Power

The way I understand it is that each timeshare, resort and/or week, location has different levels of exchange or trading benefits(power) with whichever exchange company the resort has a relationship with. There are 2 major exchange companies; RCI & Interval international. If you have a prime week or top notch resort you would receive better exchange than a less popular destination, resort, week, etcetera.

This may not be the best explanation and I've heard slight discrepancies with the way this works, but this is the genreral explanation the way I understanit timeshare exchange.

Default timeshre exchange power

that's about how it works, although I have heard that a nice timeshare location like Hawaii is more important than having a high quality resort, gold grown status, five star or whatever. this is just what I have read online, but it makes sense to me.

Timeshare is a form of holiday ownership, more than 6 million families own timeshare worldwide and most of them are satisfied with their timeshare ownership. Timeshare housing or accommodation is generally of a much higher standard than hotel or rented house.

Once you buy a timeshare interval, you may want to exchange it to vacation at another resort. A basic concept following many large timeshare exchange companies is that they strive to provide a similar to resort exchange. This rule is set to prevent members from feeling as if they have been swindled.
