We belong and deposit using RCI but often don't find the timeshares that we really want to use. We went to our first timeshare presentation in Carlsbad, California for Hilton Grand Vacations. They were not high pressure and we didn't buy at the time. We are very interested in others experience both good and bad with Hilton Grand Vacations or even Marriott. Your feedback is very appreciated.

We own a couple Marriott timeshares and LOVE them! Use them every time we vacation, exchanges well with Interval International and even has regular Marriott Hotel perks! IMO Marriott is the ONLY way to timeshare. We Are Hilton Grand Vacation Timeshare Owners And Have Been Satisfied With Our Vacations As Well. We Have Been To Marriott And Hilton Timeshare Presentations And Opted For Hilton Because Of My Husbands Business Relationship With Hilton When He Travels. Both Seemed Nice To Us, Hilton Timeshare Is Points Type Timeshare With A Deed And A Number Of Great Locations. Hilton Also Offers Hotel Perks And All Kind Of Benefits And Internal Exchange. Not Downing Marriott At All It's Just That Hgvc Worked Better For Us!

It sounds like your a current timeshare owner & member of RCI. Hilton Grand Vacations is RCI affiliated whereas Marriott Vacation Club is Interval International affiliated. So, if you're seeking exchange with RCI, Hilton Grand Vacations is your best bet. Some resorts, however are affiliated with both, which would enable you to trade/exchange with either and allow you to choose either Hilton or Marriott, if you belong to both exchange companies(most opt for one exchange company or the other or the resort dictates the affiliation).

we explored both marriott and hilton and a few others(westin and fairfield) and went with marriott almost entirely because of the 2 locations we wanted and the savings we got buying on the time share resale market. I did a lot of internet research and think I made a wise decision without going to any kind of timeshare sales presentation.
