Recently a survey was conducted by Redweek where 650 timeshare owners voted on what they would like to see improved about timeshare. The ability to exchange their timeshare week or points was chosen by 34% of the respondents as the number one frustration. Some vacationers are very adept at mastering the ins and outs of the exchange process and others voice a bit of irritation. Prospective timeshare owners are encouraged to learn and master these processes unless they have chosen to timeshare the "same place-same time" way.

Additional results from the survey indicated that rising maintenance fees came in second (28%) in concerns, followed by the need for honesty and less pressure (14%), then timeshare resales (12%) and lastly resort improvments (7%). Surveys are great and especially if they lead to positive changes.
