Default Timeshare Recommendation in Pacific Northwest

I recently moved to Wyoming from the east coast of Florida and have always wanted to explore the Pacific coast. Mostly Oregon and Washington. Wanting first hand travel experience with this area. My wifes mother has a timeshare that we can supposedly trade or use in this area. Any advice about where to go?

Default Resort at Whale Pointe - Depoe Bay, Oregon

We love this resort! Timeshare owners and no complaints. This write up about the resort sums it up:
Quote:
Depoe Bay is a favorite location of whale-watchers. Other popular vacation activities include charter fishing. You also can enjoy the town's nautical gift shops, art galleries, and many eating establishments. Great golf is minutes away from the resort in Salishan. Nearby Lincoln City is known as the Kite Flying Capital of the World. The Old Town bayfront of Newport offers a great mix of shops, galleries, seafood restaurants, and attractions such as the Undersea Gardens and Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum. Newport's Oregon Coast Aquarium is known as one of the best aquariums in the United States.

We belong to WorldMark, which has dozens of timeshares to choose from, but this is our favorite. We do recommend it and this resort could be exactly what your looking for.

Default Worldmark And Great Links Timeshares

buoyant, I'm not sure where it is that your mother in law's timeshare is or if it is a part of the Interval Int'l exchange company, but we are owners of the Great Links Resorts group and they have a number of great timeshare in the Pacific Northwest. I golf with friends a lot and we use the Great Links Resorts at Desert Canyon timeshare in Orondo, Washington. Amazing view and excellent golf! Worldmark is pretty big in this area and we have exchanged with II to get some nice timeshares that you may enjoy. Also, as a Realtor it's known that the Pacific Northwest real estate market, unlike the vast majority of the rest of the country is quite robust.
